Types of Flat Roofing We Offer
- BUR: Built-up roofing is an economical choice that is composed of three or more layers of fiberglass membrane coated with hot asphalt, with a top layer of gravel or mineral blends to protect the surface from weather, UV rays and mechanical damage.
- EDPM: Rubber roofing material commonly used on single ply roofing systems. It is very popular because of the low cost and easy installation. However, it has a tendency to absorb heat and may lead to higher utility bills.
- PVC: Vinyl roofing material that is also popular on single ply roofing systems. PVC is stronger than EDPM and more energy efficient because of its inherently light coloring.
- TPO: Thermoplastic roofing material used on single ply roofing systems. TPO is fastest-growing segment of the U.S. roofing market because it is energy efficient, available in multiple colors and has improved seam strengths.
For any type of flat roofing you choose, we recommend that you get your roof system inspected semi-annually and after major storms. Our trusted roofing experts will be happy to come check on your roofing system and make any necessary repairs.
